Amy King has served the courts in multiple capacities since 1990.  She has worked in the Clark County Prosecutor’s Office, Victim Witness Division, for Retired Judges Susan Anderson and Thomas Trempe and began her current position as Court Administrator in March 2020.  Born and raised in Clark County, she graduated with honors from Kenton Ridge High School and Rhoades Career Center.  Amy graduated summa cum laude from Ashford University with a BA in Social and Criminal Justice.  In 2024 Amy graduated from the National Center for State Courts Institute for Court Management and The Supreme Court of Ohio Judicial College Court Management Program.  This program addresses specific training needs of court managers and their staff members. Participants who successfully complete the program receive a diploma and nationally recognized certification as a Certified Court Manager.

Interpreter Services

Spanish Interpreter:

Marina Camacho

Marina C. Camaco is an independent contracted Spanish language interpreter hired by Clark County Municipal Court since September 2021.  Born and raised in Mexico City, Mexico, her native language is Spanish.  She did not speak nor understand any English at all upon her arrival to the United States.  Even though elementary school was a huge challenge, she was able to quickly learn English and graduated in the top 5% of her graduating class.  She went on to medical assistant school.  She later returned to Mexico to teach English as a second language and also to develop better Spanish grammar skills.  Her interpreting career began in 2002 doing medical interpreting and eventually taking courses for legal interpreting through The Supreme Court of Ohio, ultimately becoming a Certified Court Interpreter in 2013.  Marina has interpreted in state courts as well as in federal courts always upholding her Professional Code of Ethics for Court Interpreters.

Service Schedule:

Thursdays all day (If a holiday falls on a Thursday, Marina will be in the office on Wednesday.)
