Levels of Supervision

  • Group Supervision - Group supervision is typically ordered for low level offenders who have minimal court ordered requirements.
  • Standard Probation - Standard probation requires the offender to report to a probation officer, comply with specific rules and regulations, and fulfill certain tasks such as community service, restitution, drug testing, and other treatment programs.
  • Intensive Supervision Probation - Intensive Supervision Probation (ISP) is designed to supervise offenders with a higher risk level. These offenders meet more frequently with Probation Officers, submit more frequent drug and alcohol tests and are monitored more closely.

Offenders placed on any level of supervision are required to follow the Regulations of Probation. In addition to the Regulations of Probation, offenders must comply with any additional orders the Judge may put into effect.

Specialized Programs

  • DRUG COURT - The Drug Court is a volunteer program offered to persons who qualify for specialized drug treatment programming while on probation.
  • The mission of the Drug Court is to assist substance dependent offenders by providing a court-management drug treatment and mentoring program that will eliminate barriers to sobriety, aid in developing a sober lifestyle and reduce recidivism.
  • The Clark County Municipal Drug Court received final certification from the Supreme Court of Ohio on June 7, 2023.
In addition to supervising offenders on supervision the Probation Department conducts financial interviews to determine eligibility for Public Defender representation, collects restitution payments, community service referrals, electronic monitoring and conducts sign-ups for the 72 hour Driver’s Intervention Program.
